What We Believe

We believe the Bible, as contained in the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired and infallible Word of God, supremely and exclusively authoritative in all areas of the belief and practice of our faith.

We believe there is but one living and true God revealed in three persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, they are the same in substance, and equal in power and glory.

We believe in the utter ruin and lost condition of the human race as the result of the sin of Adam, and that apart from an application of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ in the heart of the sinner, all are born, live, and will die in a state of alienation from God.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as a divinely appointed and accepted substitute for sinners, and that He rose bodily from the grave three days after His death.

We believe the single condition given by which a person can be saved from their sin is belief in their Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, resulting from the regenerative work of God in the believer’s life and resulting in the state of being deemed forever just and righteous in the sight of God.

We believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer, sealing them before God in the certainty of their salvation, enlightening them to the will and word of God, and in cooperation with their obedience, producing in them a life marked by a godly, Christ-like character.

We believe in the one, universal church of God, embracing all in history who are united to Christ by saving faith and divine grace, unbounded by distinctions of nationalism, ethnicity, denominationalism, or time itself.

We believe in the resurrection of the just and of the unjust, in their judgments, and in the pre-millennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ to bring about the culmination of human history on this earth before inaugurating the eternal kingdom of God, as set forth in the Bible.

We believe there are two rituals commanded of all Christians, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
